Life Lately 5-23-2017

Here is basically our weekend in pictures. Lazing around, grilled food, garden work, sunshine, cutting the grass, digging in the flower beds and enjoying the wonderful weather. 

I really want to get back to more "regular" blogging, but for right now it seems about twice a week is the best I can do (I do have posts all set for the next three days though!). Between work, pregnancy, spring yard work, and a busy toddler, I really can't seem to find the time to write much. 

Speaking of toddler. Where did my baby go, and how is it that she's turning TWO in just a couple weeks? She's so much fun though. Getting so big, and talking all the time. She says her alphabet, and loves to sing. She can count up to 5 and then gets stuck (we're still working on that). 

Every morning she wakes up and asks about "Bump" (baby sister) and has to pat my tummy. Sweetest thing in the world. 

I've been reading To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han. I've seen her books going in and out through our library, and kept promising myself that I'd read one and finally I did. Oh my, is it good! If you like YA fiction then her books are the way to go (very similar writing to Meg Cabot's).

Oh, and can you believe it's already Memorial Day weekend? When did that sneak up?

Last year our friends Julie and Chad got hitched, so it's their one-year anniversary on Saturday. Plus, they're coming to visit in a few weeks, so yayyyy! 

I think we'll end up having a little picnic with the family here on Sunday. Probably set up Adriana'a pool and grill out. Basically welcome in Summertime, right? 

Okay. I need to stop typing and get busy. I have laundry to fold, emails to answer, laundry to hang up, a toddler to read to and a bunch of other random stuff to do.
