These Days

{photos from a late breakfast with the little sisters}

There is so much happening these days it seems I hardly have time to blog. It's to the point were now I wonder when (and how!) I had the time to post every day. Really, though, how did I?

Okay. So life around here. Things are finally warming up in our neck of the woods. In fact today the little sisters took Adri Rose outside to play for a while. Almost all the snow is melted and there are even buds on the lilac bushes. The weather forecast promises only rain and 40 and 50 degree weather for the foreseeable future, and I'm just fine with that.

Our Posie is teething again. I've heard terrible stuff about the two year molars and so far it's all true. She's had trouble sleeping, and had a slight fever and runny nose the past three days. Poor little thing. We've been curled up on the couch, reading lots of books, watching Winnie the Pooh, and cuddling non-stop. As much as I hate seeing her so sick part of me is happy that my usually busy, never stopping, and always on the go almost two year old is sitting on my lap and snuggling with me. That so rarely happens these days it's making me savor this time with my not-so-tiny baby.

Adam's seedlings are already popping up! He's been bringing home the wood for our raised beds and as soon as all the snow melts we are setting them up and getting ready to add the dirt to them. It'll probably all happen on the next nice weekend.

Speaking of weekend. It's almost here! We don't have big plans. Adam has work on Saturday and we are going to relax and take things easy on Sunday (we're skipping family dinner this week). Saturday Julia and I are going to take off for the day and go shopping. We haven't had a girls day out in a while and it's much needed.

Now I'm off to finish dinner (Beef Stroganoff served over noodles).

Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. I try hard to keep up on the blogging. It's hard though with Instagram and fb being so much easier to post on! I love being able to look back and basically have an online journal of thoughts and photos :)
