Settling In

I'm still here, just been busy busy busy.  We love our new place, but it's taking me a bit longer to settle in than I thought it would. It's a big adjustment living way out here, with no traffic noises, no cell reception, a much bigger place, and drafty windows ;)
Today we seemed to get a bit of our daily routine back though. Adam went to work (he has been off work since we moved), we cleaned, unpacked, ate a big breakfast, Adri took a long nap, and I answered emails and did computer work.

Hopefully the weather warms up (and stops raining) sometime soon so we can go exploring outside. Can you believe I've yet  to wander the property?

I love our upstairs bathroom. It's not only huge, but has to most wonderful claw foot tub. And no, Sprite in not staying in the bathroom...he got stuck there when we were unpacking and I've yet to take him out.

#pregnancycravings (need I say more?).

Making frozen yogurt chews for my munchkin. Strawberry and maple. These are so quick to make and a great way to use up leftover yogurt!

Naptime and work.

Hopefully I'll be back to more regular blogging soon, but in the meantime I'll try to pop in when I can.

I hope everyone is having a lovely Wednesday!

  4. This is a lot to do! I remember (more than 40 years ago) when we had to move when our first born daughter was six weeks old. Luckily we had lots of family and friends to help us. Your new place looks as if it will be great, especially when spring arrives.Take your time!
