A Tour Of The Loft.

I thought we'd do something fun today and have a little tour of our apartment. I know I've shared lots of photos here and there of it but I thought it might be nice to have a "real" walk through it.
I really love our apartment. It's actually two huge old studio apartments combined and we have a ton (understatement) of space here. My favorite things about it are the high ceilings, all the windows, and the colors!

So grab a mug of tea and settle in for a visit.

The space in the living room in rather wonderful. My desk is the first thing you see when you walk in. It's such a cheerful place to sit at. The windows look right down on main street so we see all the "action" in town ;)

Looking through the doorway you can see into the other studio (which is the bedroom and reading nook combined).
The box in the corner is Adri's "portal" that Adam brought home for her to play in a couple months ago.

My favorite wall in the living room. You can also see my sewing corner over to the right...

I never really take pictures in the kitchen because there's no natural light (making all the photos kinda horrid). This is what you see when you walk in our door.  Over to the right is the doorway into the main bathroom.

And now we're back to the bedroom. Lots of sunshine and plants. Just the way I like it ;)

The reading nook where Adri and I spend a lot of time during the day. Over to the left is our huge walk in closet. It has all my clothes and we have all the things that are in storage there (old baby clothes, gardening stuff, Christmas decorations, etc).

A little glimpse of the second bathroom. I love the tall window in here. I really need to wash that curtain though (we had a rain storm with the window open and it got stained), it's just that I'm not really sure how to get it down because it's hook up there in a funny way (it was there when we moved in).

And that's it! Now I hope you have a better idea of what our little space looks like. Thanks for visiting :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Hi Kim,
I do think it looks a lot like my mom and dad's place--we have a lot of similar artwork! lol
I really do love all the space we have, it makes the thought of moving kinda difficult. We want a yard, but love the space here!

    1. Amy, the top of that is actually the counter that is attached to the wall (was there when we moved in) and under it I put a book shelf. The shelf fits perfectly there (was meant to be, I guess ;)).

    1. Hi Diane,
Thank-you :) The books can get just a tad bit overwhelming at times, but we try really hard to keep them as organized as possible! lol
