after the weekend: all about the wisdom teeth.

What a weekend (total understatement).
So, yes, I got my wisdom teeth pulled on Thursday (no fun), and yeah, the swelling was pretty bad for the first two days. But now things are better...swelling going down, and I'm able to eat more than just ice cream, yogurt, and soup (yay!).
I spent most of Friday and Saturday on the couch, watching Orange Is The New Black and/or reading Me Before You (such a good book, btw. everyone really must read that!).
Yesterday I was feeling much better, and we went up to Wesleytown to take care of the garden. It's doing so well. There are even little tomatoes now!
We came home and I cleaned, re-arranged, and packed away a lot of old baby clothes. Adam got a new green chair, so I had to find a place to put my old red one. And, let me tell you, finding new spots for furniture in this apartment is no easy job!
Of course later it was back up to Wesleytown, for Sunday dinner at mom and dad's. Adri went swimming, and we all talked, and the Adri took a nap, and we ate lots of good food, and everything was pretty great.

Now. It's Monday.
Stan Lee (little brother that lives across the green, with Julia), came over this morning and had coffee with me. So I had a nice start to my morning.
I have a new kitty bed for the cats, I just need to sew some cushions for it.
We are planning on heading out for our walk in a few minutes.
I have a house to clean, but really just want to finish my book.
And as usual, there's work later!

And there's my Monday. Hope you have a wonderful one!

So much ice cream, and yogurt. I don't want to see either one for a while now.

Before and after. Only the after is from Friday-the swelling got worse by Saturday.

The Small One may have watched a bit too much Daniel Tiger...

Gotta take those meds!

New tablet cover (I love it!), and reading material.

Couch cuddles, where I'm trying to smile, and can't.

If you can't have hot coffee, make it cold...

My new (to me) picture. The frame color matches the trim. Who would have thought????

Checking the garden (and the dried up pond). All Adri wanted to do was walk, and we forgot her shoes.
