after the weekend: spring like weather, long walks, and an extra day.

Guess what? It's the last day of February! Also, only once every four years are there twenty-nine days in the month (usually there are only twenty-eight). So we get an extra day today! Good old Leap Year (p.s if you haven't seen that movie yet, with that title, do yourself a favor and go watch it. It has Amy Adams in it, and it's sooo good!).
This past  was just plain lovely. The weather was so warm. We made tons of good food, played our new Lord of The Rings video game, watched The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and went for a nice long hike.

My baby loves playing with her toes. It keeps her occupied for hours! 

 Our library is promoting "Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten".  

Adri has been busy working on hers ;)

 

And now it's raining out. I have a kitchen to clean, and a baby to bathe. We are having pulled b.b.q chicken for dinner (Adam cooked it in the crock-pot last night), and I have to run to the post office.
