Full of Firsts.

I love having a wee one, I especially love what comes with having her. Don't get me wrong. It's not easy. Motherhood is mainly 90% work and 10% fun. But the fun FAR outweighs the work.

I love her fat little face, chubby legs, big smile, her blue eyes. I love when she stops nursing to peer up at me and grin-her face all covered in milk. I love watching while she sleeps (hey, I'm a mom, I get to be creepy like that!), her little fat belly moving slowing up and down. I love taking her everywhere with me. She's my little buddy, my best pal.

And what I really love are all the Firsts. Her First car ride. Her First smile. Her First real roll over. Her First trip to the pet store. Her First trip out of state. Her First visit to church. Her First time swimming. Her First bath. Her First doctor visit.
Right after she was born I started it as little game, then it kept going. I take pictures of the "first this" and "first that". Sometimes it seems a little silly, and I'm sure it's just a first (ha!) time parent thing, and a lot of parents do it, but still, I'm sure one day I'll look back on all those Firsts, and really miss them.

Above: Posie's first time eating out. We went to Panera. I got a caesar salad, and a bacon, turkey sandwich. Adam got the cheddar broccoli soup, and the same sandwich. It was the best, and Midget LOVED being there, she smiled at everyone and everything!
