Thanksgiving.

I made the snowy trip back to Wesleytown to spend Thanksgiving with the family, and had an absolutely fantastic time!
Things are cold and white there, and it was so much fun to be able to eat lots of good food {and cook it!}, spend time visiting and curl up in of the woodstove front of reading and knitting.

Sophia, reading to Eleanor.

Gathered 'round the table.

Pie making.

Cooking venison stew.

  1. I'm so glad to hear you made it through the snow safely. I've been reading of the stormy, snowy weather going on back there and hoping you would be safe in your travels.

Thanks for sharing photos from home. I just love gazing into the goings on there. I can just picture in my mind the warmth and love and happy moments of family which I know are part of the fabric of this home, making these rooms some of the most endearing spots I have ever had the privilege of spending time in.

From the cozy wood stove, the wood floors and furniture, to the delightful stacks of books and the art work hanging all around, every part of this place says "home" not "house". What a blessing that God has given you this heritage to be a part of.
