Home for the weekend.

...and now back again.
 It was a lovely, nice long four-day trip and I enjoyed every minute of it-favorite people, good food, dogs, cute children, late nights, happy music, and always lots of books~there truly is nothing like home!

"Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home;
A charm from the sky seems to hallow us there,
Which, seek through the world, is ne'er met with elsewhere.
Home, home, sweet, sweet home!
There's no place like home, oh, there's no place like home!"

  1. Rosie,

    I've looked at many a lovely picture of your home sweet home and I never would have guessed that the floor plan was that open! I always pictured many small cozy rooms.

  2. Nicolai....that can't be him in that first pic...is it?? My goodness is he ever getting TALL!!! They do that don't they? My Xavier is 10 and I know that soon he will sprout up...but my children don't have much hope in being very tall since my Christopher and I are both on the short side! ;)
