::blog notes: 1:17:2013:

:Outside my window: Snow falling steadily and the day is a rather cold, gray one.

:I am thinking: That I am glad that I live in a part of the world where there are all the seasons~everlasting Winter would not be a fun thing...

:I am thankful: For a warm woodstove to curl up next to.

:In the kitchen: Nothing cooking at the moment, but planning on making pizzas with onions, mushrooms and lots of cheese later on for dinner.

:I am creating: Lots of sewing going on and there is also a new pair of socks on the needles.

{a lovely coral and turquoise color}

:I am going: To try and fit in a snowy walk later~if the snow lets up a bit.

:I am reading: At this moment, too many books to list. But one of the best books I have read so far is An Everlasting Meal~not only full of information, but also so inspiring!

Also, a few good P.G. Wodehoues quotes:

“There is no surer foundation for a beautiful friendship than a mutual taste in literature.”

“At the age of eleven or thereabouts women acquire a poise and an ability to handle difficult situations which a man, if he is lucky, manages to achieve somewhere in the later seventies.”

“What ho!" I said.
"What ho!" said Motty.
"What ho! What ho!"
"What ho! What ho! What ho!"
After that it seemed rather difficult to go on with the conversation.”

:I am looking forward to: A trip to the fabric store with Julia, this weekend~always a fun thing!

:I am hearing: Music playing, wee ones playing, Julia turning the pages of a book and the kitties scurrying about, playing tag.

:A few plans for the rest of the week: Due to the snow, not too much. Sewing, reading, shopping, cooking, school, playing games and staying warm.

  2. I do wish we would get snow in Winter.
    At the moment we are having scorching hot weather and bush fires. Thankfully no fires near us.

    Love your photos Rosie!
