::there and back again::

:Yes, we are home, after having a wonderful week away, visiting.

:Today we {in random order}:

:Washed laundry.

:Ate Ben and Jerry's-in my case, Coffee Heath Bar Crunch.

:Got a hair cut {ahem, more like just a trim-to be exact}

:With Dad's help, got my car running again.

:Worked on sewing some more Christmas gifts.

:Had a nice talk on the phone with my Grandmother.

:Curled up with a mug of tea in front of the fire.

:Was happy to see that although there was snow in New England,the snow here in Wesleytown has already melted.

:Many thanks to Lilly, for letting me swipe the following pictures from her on Facebook.

  4. Lots and lots of cups of tea/hot cocoa by the fireplace/stove! So many childhood memories and traditions have to do with Autumn and Winter. I can't imagine living somewhere that is warm year round. Each season brings with it such loveliness, but the coziest memories come from time spent together as a family reading, knitting and drinking mug after mug of something warm. We always seem to look forward to Spring and then always welcome Autumn back with arms wide open!
    What lovely pictures. I especially like the one of the hanging copper pans near the wood stove!
    Blessings,
    Laura
