"Its spring its spring...

...Oh I just can’t wait
To find fruits on the vases
And flowers on my plate
I want to hear the warm sun
And feel the robin singing
Watch the scent of the flowers
And smell the butterflies flying."

  1. I am so excited about spring this year too! This is my first year to be home with my six kids instead of working, and I am thrilled to be able to get outside with them every day and explore. We live in a large city, but right next to a botanical garden so we are able to do lots of nature exploring.

  2. Lovely pics!

I made your mom's buttered pasta with fresh tomato/basil/olive oil dish for my family on Sunday. I made it as a side, thinking that my sometimes-picky eaters might not eat much. THEY ATE ALL of it--I barely had enough for my own "side dish", lol. :D

  4. Your knitted dishcloth is so colorful; it'll make washing dishes a bit more fun! I'll have to try your mom's pasta dish from your commentor, above. It sounds delicious!

  9. Whilst you are moving into spring we are heading into Autumn over on this side of the world. I am looking forward to the quietness of winter when I can sit and read or stitch by the fire in the evenings. To have lovely warm soup bubbling away on the combustion heater creates such a nice atmosphere in our home. Thank you for the lovely pictures of your families happenings. I enjoy them so much.
    Blessings Gail

That is so wonderful that you will be able to have that time to spend exploring with your children, and that even though you are in the city, you have places to explore at!
