::Christmas Day::

{We got a little bit of snow, on Christmas Eve!}

We had a lovely Christmas Day, here at home with the family.
Wesley and Claire come over with their wee ones, and we opened presents, feasted, and visited...

As a Christmas gift to the whole family, Claire and Wesley sent us all to see "The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe" at the theater!
It was *wonderful*~ everything about it, the acting, the singing, the set, all lovely.
We it so very much enjoyed it.

Knitted ponies, ready to be wrapped.

More knitted gifts for wee ones...

I love wrapping paper, all those lovely patterns and colors it comes in!

"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

  13. A beautiful family Christmas!

    Your Christmas Day reminds me of something a friend of my daughter's told her.

    Her friend had eight or nine children at the time and Stephanie only a couple (now she has five).

    They were talking about Stephanie having been an interior designer before her first child was born and decorating houses.

    Her friend with the large family said she "decorates her house with people".

    Lovely people, just like YOU~ (Although your non-people decorations are lovely, too.)

    I just had to take a moment from my computer break this week to comment. :)
