Off we go...

...on a trip back to New England for the weekend, to visit with friends.

Driving...

Real seafood!

and the Ocean!
There is nothing quite like the smell of salt water.

We just had to keep taking photos as we were driving along.

A park that we used to go to and feed ducks when we were little.

A Hobbit finds a whale.

Friends forever.

Hmmm, Trouble and More Trouble?

Of course we had to stop there...

These bamboo plants were so neat!

Card Art.

Prudence, deep in thought.

Grace, cooking dinner.

Julia and Georgia get in on the action too...

Joseph wanted to help.

So, he stood at the stove and burned butter!

a great big hug from Amanda!

Hiding from the summer heat in the house, playing Clue.

Why those two had to be the ones to win will forever be a mystery to me...

On the way home from church... Aidan, Prudence and Joe.

And after we got home, playing Mafia.

Mafia-in-the-mirror...

Garden harvest...

Window Art.

At the end of the day...

Give me a man with no goals and I'll give you a stock clerk."

  4. HiRosie. I have been reading your blog for awhile now. I enjoy reading and seeing the pictures that you post. Your family photos are precious. Though this post I have to comment on because...I believe I know where you all were. I won't give the state away, but I know where Dads Restaurant is. I live about and hour and 15 minutes northwest of there. I was born and raised in this state and never left it. My husband takes his boat out of around there several times during the summer to go fishing. He loves it. Hope you had an enjoyable weekend.

  6. Oh the sites, sounds, and smells of New England! I am originally from Maine - the way life should be :), but moved away when I got married over 25 years ago. Now, we love to go home for a visit, but I don't think I could move back there. The winters are so long!
    Thanks for sharing.
    Blessings,

  8. Rosie, you'll have to share "How To Play Mafia" some day on your post. Sounds like you guys had a fun time. I agree, fish is so much tastier when it has been caught hours before eating. I wanted to mention that I am giving away Amish Values For your Family on my blog, Suzanne Woods Fisher's newest book . I thought you and your readers might like to enter.

Have a great weekend, and give your mom a big hug!
