We have been very busy, this month.
But I did want to pop in and say hello. I will try to do a "real' blog post soon, and I have lots of pictures too!
We have been busy here, yesterday Sophia and I were out in the garden planting peas, carrots, lettuce and potatoes.
It is so nice to be outside again, and hear the birds singing, and feel the hot sun.
Julia and I took a nice moonlit stroll the other night, and didn't even need sweaters, it was wonderful!
We are still busy, reading and sewing, drawing, doing school and cooking. It is amazing how much you can fit into just one day.
~~
So, here are just a few photo's to hold you over, 'till I get back....

  1. I'm so glad the weather is finally cooperating. Isn't it nice to be out where you can dig in the ground and smell the earth again? I love the smell of dirt :)

So far gardening here consists mostly of pulling the large weeds, whose roots grow all the way to China it seems, that have flourished through all of our many spring rains.

And a moonlit stroll is such a perfect way to the end the day, especially when you have such nice company. I hope someone thought to recite a poem.

Thanks for the happy, spring pictures to brighten our day, and for the quote on "contentment". I've never heard that one before, but I liked it a lot.
