~A Beautiful Wedding~

Joseph, Mama and I just got back from a three day trip to visit some dear friends and take part in a very special day for them (and for us too).
The marriage of their son, Silas, to a wonderful young lady named Hannah.

It was a beautiful, fun-filled day. We had such a great time!
Here are just some of the many picture that we took......

  4. Oh I do like a good wedding too, in fact I could easily find myself crashing weddings of perfect strangers just for the share enjoyment. There's nothing like witnessing a commitment of love before God, beautiful flowers, lovely music and dresses, a chance to catch up with friends, AND.....no dishes to wash up at the end of it. There's a lot to be said for them really. :)

PS: Rosie I have a 'chook' book link you might be interested in. All the pictures are beautifully illustrated in watercolour and it is rather lovely.

And you might also really like this book of heirloom apples all painted by an exceptionally talented botanical illustrator (sadly not myself). It's a totally breathtaking luscious book.

I don't have any affiliation with book depository by the way other than purchasing more books than I should. :)

  5. Your Princess Bride reference made me giggle. :) This reminds me of my wedding, not so very long ago (but more than a decade now!) where we had the same colors, and red and white roses. It was simple and beautiful and I still wouldn't change a thing.
