First Snow, of 2010.

~Our first snow in Wesleytown~

"Lets go and see everybody,"said Pooh. "Because when you have been walking in the wind for miles, and you suddenly go into somebody's house,
and he says, "Hallo, Pooh, you're just in time for a little smackerel of something,"
and you are, then it's what I call a friendly day."

  1. Oh how pretty! We haven't even had a decent *frost* yet, very unusual for our state.

  2. We had this a week or so ago...the children were quite excited to wake and see it! ;) I am enjoying autumn too much....completely *not* ready for snow yet! ;)

Hope you had a great weekend! Sending big smiles your way!

  3. very pretty. :o) there's a certain type of quiet that happens at the first snow. well, that's how i remember it as a child. where i now live, it doesn't snow. one would have to drive 45 minutes east and up the mountain for that. it rains here though. a lot. and i must say that i treat that first rain much as i did snow, as a child. quietly thrilled.

  5. Rosie,
Nothing like beautiful snow. We don't get much snow here living in Georgia, but when we do...I sure love it.
    Have a blessed Monday,
    Cathy

  6. In the expectation of the changes of season, we are gifted with the beauty of a few snowflakes that makes us more anxious for the real thing :)

  8. I'm actually quite envious of your lovely first snow.
Where I live, with the heat and humidity, I'm having to run the air-conditioning...
I know we're to bloom where we're planted, but right now I'm withering. :-)

  9. I actually hate to admit that I miss the snow just a teeny bit. We will not get any snow here in No. California, but we did get a colder blast coupled with rain this weekend. Our first introduction to Fall. Your blog is so beautiful.
    Blessings,
    Michelle
