~Waffles~

" It was a Sunday morning ritual for Johnny to bake waffles at the Malones. He used their old-fashioned iron that sat on a burner over a gas burner on the stove and baked waffles with a star in the center and hearts around it. So that often someone would ask,"Anybody for an extra heart?"
